Our story began in 2011, when we first launched the domain filmnadvd.cz. We knew we wanted to “play to a full house,” but we started modestly at our parents’ house.
In 2014, we took our first big step—we entered the Slovak market and showed that our vision did not end at the Czech border. Four years later, a turning point came. We moved to our first large warehouse and founded Daniel Shopping s.r.o. This took our e-shop to a completely professional level.
Thanks to EU support, we have modernized our technologies and processes. The result? Faster order processing, better overview of stock levels, and more reliable delivery.

We started out as a group of enthusiasts with one domain and big dreams. Today, we are the largest Czech e-shop selling DVDs, Blu-rays, CDs, and vinyl records.
We registered filmnadvd.cz and launched the first version of our e-shop. We sold a few dozen titles and had big plans.
We crossed the border and entered the Slovak market. Our first international expansion showed that our services have potential beyond the Czech Republic.
Daniel Shopping s.r.o. was founded and we moved into our first large warehouse. What started as a hobby project has become a professional business with a team of people who love movies and music just as much as you do.
Thanks to European funds, we have upgraded our technology. A new system, faster check-in, better customer service. There has also been a complete redesign of the brand – a new logo, website, and overall identity.
We are expanding to the largest online marketplace and entering the Polish market. Our products are now even more accessible.
